Biden’s Big Day
On the day after the election, I did a post that began as follows:
I was wrong about the Senate, as at the time no one knew Trump would decide to hand the Democrats the Senate on a silver platter a month later. As I said, he’s playing 4-D chess.
But I was certainly right that Trump was not going to follow the tradition of losing presidents, he would not fade away. Here’s a recent NYT:
Think of the Biden interlude (within the 12 years of Trump) as the period when all of Trump’s promises finally get done (infrastructure bill, Mexico pays for our border security, repeal Roe v. Wade, higher taxes on the rich, above 4% RGDP growth, etc.) You know, the ones he failed to accomplish while in office.

Might be better stated as- media/democratic party refuse to allow him to fade away. He is just the only tool at their disposal at this point to make a case to the American people to vote for them. Otherwise, I don’t think they would have anything to run on, at all. The leadership has even admitted as much.
If the Democratic party would just fall on their sword, for one election cycle; take the hits in the house and senate, maybe the next presidential election (just assume Desantis will win), maybe we could be done with the Trump nonsense.
It is a myth that all past losing candidates for Presidential elections fade away BY CHOICE; they fade away because they have no more political power. That obviously is not the case with Trump, where any time he opens his mouth, or even someone else opens their mouth to say something about him, it is a national story for the next week.

He’s not really the only tool, the Democrats have done various things that will or should appeal to various people. (And also done things that will or should not appeal to various people).

The “12 years of Trump” idea is funny, and no doubt a good way to cope with the madness of it all, but the interesting question is whether or not Biden remaining in Trump’s shadow makes Trump more likely to actually win in 2024 or less likely to win. I think the answer is clearly “less.”
That doesn’t mean Trump can’t or won’t win in 2024, but it means he’s totally reliant on the Dems themselves to blunder – there’s not much he can do to help himself, or even to avoid hurting his own chances, a personality transplant seeming unlikely at this point.
(That there’s an entire wing of the Democratic party that is devoted to making those blunders, let’s not dwell on that).

You are the guy who told us there should be a one world NATO. Is there anything more tyrannical than a one world “anything”. Just fill in the blank. That is scary.
You are the guy who told us, after the 2016 election, that you hated the electoral college, which is designed to protect and preserve a republic! Please keep in mind that “republic” is the key word here. We are not a democracy, because the framers were genius; they were worried about the tyranny of the majority. Here is an excerpt from an NPR article from 2019 admitting that President Trump has “absolute power” when it comes to classified secrets.
“He therefore has the authority to decide unilaterally what will be disclosed, what will be declassified and what will not.”
If Trump says something is declassified, as he did with all the documents raided from Mar A Lago, it’s declassified. Period.

The operating system of the ‘left’ is the dialectic, and a rejection/denial of truth being a uniting objective pointer to which everyone can assess statements as more accurate and more true over less accurate and less true.

The language of lefists may look the same as everyone else’s, they use the same words, but their dictionaries are different. They constantly invoke a ‘dualist’ logic.
The epistemological view of the world according to leftists is that since there is allegedly no such thing as an objective truth knowable to humanity (which is a self contradiction because that logic is itself advanced as an objective truth about the limits of the human mind and of reality), what history really is, is a ‘becoming’ instead. History ‘unfolds’ and ALL words become ‘double speak’, even the word ‘truth’ is given a historicist definition where it doesn’t mean fidelity to reality as it is, but rather it takes on a hermeticist definition that truth is ‘really’ merely what is said or uttered as truth, a flawed circular logic that is also self-contradictory because that assessment requires a transcending of its own limits to ‘see’ words from that vantage point.
The most succinct definition of a leftist is a liar who wants power.
Everything is about ‘power’ for them. That’s why you can see Sumner lying about what he did and did not say. His logic REQUIRES him to lie, because the dialectic logic is a constant introduction of psychological projections of own flaws out into the world, and when there are inconsistencies between original smear and subsequent revelation of truth, they lie to cover up the inconsistency, they’ll play word games and accuse you again of their own misuse of language and say you’re just too stupid to understand ‘what I really meant when I said that.’
Sumner blatantly lied when he said the ‘only’ time he ever pushed the narrative Trump ‘colluded with Russia Russia Russia’ was in reference to a joke Trump made at a rally about Hillary’s illegally deleted emails. I can tell Sumner lied because his dialectic projection logic requires him to accuse others of what he is guilty of, so right after I posted a link to a moneyillusion post from years ago where Sumner made a whole post that Trump should be impeached for colluding with Russia, Sumner projected and accused me of lying for merely showing what he posted.
Do you know the TikTok user ‘LibsofTikTok’? All that account does is repost videos that leftists post to TikTok, and yet the whole msm establishment is smearing the user as anti this or that, a hater, inciting violence, blah blah blah. What that proves is that leftists have big problems when all you do is replay WHAT THEY SAY BACK TO THEM. And why is that? It is because what they say is from a dialectic logic that introduces itself as smears and accusations outside themselves, so when you replay what they say back to them, it is experienced by them as a smear against them, which is why they react with such vitriol to their own past statements.
Another example: In the early stages of the pandemic, when the evil bastards wanted there to be maximum infection, Fauci initially said don’t wear masks, and Pelosi urged everyone to party on Chinatown mask free.
Then later on, when users merely reposted what Fraudci said, on cesspools like Twitter and Facebook, THEY GOT BANNED for ‘disinformation’.
Now the sick leftists are preying on young children in schools, sexualizing them, grooming them, and teaching them that America is ‘fundamentally racist’.
The whole rotten temple of radical left politics must be destroyed, for it is itself introducing destruction everywhere it spreads, regardless of its dishonest pronouncements that it is the ‘solution’ to the problems THEY THEMSELVES CAUSED.

This is laughable, main stream networks cover Trump because he is entertaining (people love to hate him or love to love him) not because it’s “news”. The NYTs does not cover “news” they cover entertainment…
If that were true, don’t you think it would be “news” if the leader of one of the two political parties was involved in money laundering/bribery/treason (potentially)? Why did/do we STILL not get the major networks tracking down stories related to Hunter Biden/Joe Biden? If that were the Trump family, it would be the only thing being covered on every network. Better yet, these networks actively worked together to block out coverage of any Biden impropriety.
The Pelosi family routinely makes money off insider trading, I would consider Nancy a leader of the Democratic Party.

The Hunter Biden story isn’t relevant because anyone cares about Hunter… It’s relevant because it is clear that Joe Biden was involved to some degree.
Fair enough on the insider trading 😀 not “illegal”. And no, they all do not do it, especially to the degree the Pelosi family does it. I work in the ultra-high net worth, family office management space and I can tell you – if they weren’t politically connected; they would both be in jail. The fact that she consistently is the congressional member leading the charge AGAINST new legislation to fix this problem should be “news” in my opinion.
That still misses the point I was making though – the media covers Trump because he is entertaining, not because he is newsworthy. Let’s be honest… it’s clearly why you can’t help yourself from making a Trump comment in almost every post you make. You know it will drive comments, you know it’ll drive activity. It’s why you have a post that is 99% about an interesting topic, unrelated to politics, then at the very end, you are compelled to add a “TRUMP IS BAD” type comment. Honestly, good for you, you found a way to drive activity, but so did the entire media.

Even if the charges against Pelosi were true, they would be minor compared to Trump funneling government business into his hotels, or his family (Ivanka and Jared Kushner) making a fortune off his connections in the Middle East.
